Playing away to Marlow and we all made it on time despite the bridge issues!

Thanks to Vicki Smith who stepped up as team Captain whilst Louise is on holiday. She did a great job of getting the team organised and motivated and Louise would have been proud of our warm up (not quite as tough as one of Louise's but I don't think this would be possible)

Marlow scored first within the 1st half but this was quickly answered with a great goal scored by Elodie James, supported by Hannah Skeldon. They made a great team with their fast pace up the wing and on target passing.

After a few helpful pointers in the break from Jules it was on to the 2nd half. Both teams worked hard to try and score again with opportunities on both sides with some great saves from Tori Prince. Bambi had a moment where she head butted the ball (ouch) and Ellie Aries broke through the Marlow defence with another great goal but this was quickly followed up by Marlow with a goal of their own.

At the end of the game the Sonning team agreed that we had all worked well together and most importantly had really enjoyed the game.
