We are very pleased to announce that two of Sonning Hockey Club’s former Colts have just learned that they have been selected into England Hockey Squads.

What is even more remarkable, is they both share the same surname: Oke.

For brothers Oliver and George all the hard work and dedication has paid off as they have been selected to the Under 18s and Under 16’s squads respectively.

The surname Oke is well known to Sonning players. Both parents, Anthony and Anne have for years been outstanding contributors to Sonning Hockey Club.

It is no surprise that that same level of commitment has been demonstrated in support of the blossoming Hockey careers of their talented boys.

Sonning Hockey Club would like to wish both Boys, and their family, every success in their anticipated hockey adventures.
